Dion Lewis Out For Season

In the Patriots week 10 victory over the Washington Redskins, starting running back, Dion Lewis limped off the field with an apparent knee injury. Lewis is the Patriots #1 running back ahead of LeGarrette Blount, who will now be starting in the place of the injured Lewis. Lewis underwent an MRI and confirmed that he had torn his ACL, news that Pats fans were not looking forward to seeing. Although its not the end of the world for the Pats, it is still a blow to the teams offense which happens to be the best in the league. The Pattiots will most likely try to bring in other running backs to try to replace Lewis on the depth chart. Who ever they bring in most likely isn't going to see much playing time and are most likely just there to add depth.
